Plants and objects are often consumed as a part of background. By emphasizing them playing out of their role, or how they connect with human hands, ‘식물 생활’ projects of MAEGAE suggests new way of co-living. The kale that escaped dining table leans on a vase to relax. Bagazi is simply happy to enjoy sunlight even though peppers are out out of its control. Standing upside down, a cup rejects to be a container and proudly puts on a sticker it found in the kitchen. But they never neglect us. When the smooth surface of a transparent vase and arm of a human draws a gentle line, flower blooms like fireworks. The bottle gladly cooperates to the serious arms pouring water carefully. When we embrace them as companions of the day, not just objects, our co-living begins.
